Roelof JacobsPhysiotherapist
B.Sc Physiotherapy - University of the Free State (UOFS) Roelof is a Physiotherapist in Stellenbosch with a special interest in musculoskeletal conditions, sports injuries, and office ergonomics. He graduated in 2009 from the University of the Free State (UOFS) and has worked with a wide variety of patients ranging from professional sports teams to hospital-bound patients recovering from major surgeries.
He and an architect friend teamed up to develop their own brand of desk stands to promote standing while working. He is an avid mountain biker, trail runner, rock climber and loves outdoor adventures. Because of his interest in office ergonomics and being a competitive athlete himself, the practice is committed to looking after the physical well-being of many professional and recreational athletes, as well as the desk-bound patient that puts in long hours at work. “I feel privileged to be in a profession where I can build lasting relationships with patients and help them to overcome obstacles and reach their goals.” The practice forms part of the Medical and Dental Centre in Technopark, making it conveniently accessible to local office workers as well as residents from the nearby De Zalze, Paradyskloof and Jamestown suburbs. |
